Meet Harold — your AI research agent. Ask a question in plain English; get back analysis where every number is traced to its source and every strategy carries its backtested record.
Interface renderings. Illustrative data — not live positions or investment advice.
Most AI tools give you one assistant that does everything, badly. AlphaCanvas splits the job the way a real desk does — one agent picks the play, one runs it, one grades the tape.
Your research agent. Harold reads the question, decides which of 45+ tools to call and in what order, then answers with the evidence attached — including which playbook the scorecard says fits and how confident it is.
/hunt, /setups, /stylesThe per-trade agent. Once an idea exists, Mack runs that playbook's exact rules every cycle — entries, stop distance, time limits, exits. He never invents a number; the grammar hands him the ones the backtests proved.
The performance manager. Four times a day Iris grades the live book against what the evidence said should happen — adherence, expectancy, drift — and proposes corrections where reality and the playbook disagree.
No dashboards to build, no alerts to configure, no query language to learn. Harold picks the tools, runs them in sequence, and shows you the whole chain so you can audit the path he took.
Slash commands run a whole pipeline and hand Harold the results to narrate.
/hunt
Self-directed origination. Ranks the universe, fuses signals into a consensus, prices structures, and returns a two-lane slate with conviction tiers, near-misses and a market read.
/hunt alpha · /hunt income · /hunt technology/setups
Equity setup candidates ranked by relative strength, trend posture, RSI positioning and a fundamentals overlay — scoped to the hottest sectors, or a sector you name.
/setup · /trades · /setups financials/setups-options
Takes the top equity candidates and goes one level deeper: live chains, then the best cash-secured put, covered call and directional strikes by IV, greeks and annualized yield.
/wheel · /options-setups · /setups-options energy/styles
The scorecard, in plain English. One-line profiles for every playbook, full detail on any one of them, and a deterministic backtest you can run on your own symbols.
/styles income_harvest · /styles test momentum NVDAAsk Harold to go hunting and he runs the whole origination pipeline himself: rank the universe, fuse the signals, price the structures, and hand back a slate you can act on.
Signals vote as equal peers — patterns, regime, technicals and relative strength each get a say, and none of them gets a veto. Conviction is the weighted result of that vote, not a number an LLM felt like producing.

A strategy that worked once in one bull market isn't an edge — it's a coincidence. So we tested 17 playbooks across 10 years of history, split into four separate market eras, and published the result inside the product.

Rendering of the style matrix Harold reads before recommending anything.
Ten years of history split into a bull run, a crash, a bear market and a recovery. A playbook that only worked in one of them is fragile, and we say so.
cost_dies and never recommended.Harold's arithmetic is checked against the tool output that produced it — deterministically, with no second model grading the first. Each number in a response lands in one of four buckets, and you see which.
The number appears directly in the tool data.
The number is computable from the tool data.
A judgment, score or probability — excluded from the score rather than counted as fact.
It reads like a data claim but nothing backs it. This is the one you want flagged.
Connect your broker and the Pro dashboard becomes the single place you check. Positions, working orders, event-sourced P&L and per-idea budgets, all reconciled against broker truth every cycle — with Harold's analysis attached to each move.
Pro is a monitoring and research surface: it tracks and explains what your account is doing. Autonomous order routing is an Enterprise capability.

No. AlphaCanvas is a research and analysis platform, not an adviser. Harold produces structured analysis, scenario modelling and backtested evidence — the decision is always yours. 21Chains LLC is not a broker-dealer, registered investment adviser, or fiduciary.
Two gates. Every numeric token in a response is classified against the tool data that produced it — sourced, derived, analytical or unverifiable — and you see the classification. Separately, every options contract is validated against the live chain before it can be shown to you. Neither gate uses a second language model to grade the first.
Real historical prices, replayed with realistic trading costs, across four separate market eras spanning ten years. We report the average across eras and the worst era, because the worst era is the honest number. Strategies whose edge disappears once spreads and commissions are applied are labelled and never recommended. Backtested results are historical and do not predict future performance.
Yes. You choose the model that powers your chat from the models available on your plan, and you can supply your own provider API keys. Keys are stored encrypted and used only for your own requests.
Analyst is the full research surface — Harold, the toolset, the hunt and setup pipelines, the style scorecard, briefings and the research archive. Pro adds the real-time dashboard: broker connection, live positions and orders, event-sourced P&L, per-idea budgets, and the monitor feed with Harold's periodic analysis. Autonomous execution agents are Enterprise.
Not for Analyst — it's a pure research plan. Pro's dashboard reads from a connected brokerage account, and supports paper environments if you'd rather validate first.
45+ tools, 50+ live data sources, ten years of backtested evidence, and a fact-check on every number — from your first question.
